This barbecue chicken is marinated and seasoned like the traditional Senegalese food (Chicken Yasa).
1. Prepare the marinated sauce: in a big bowl, combine onions, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Maggi chicken cube, paprika powder, salt and ground black pepper.
2. Add the pieces of raw chicken to this bowl and marinate for at least 2 hours before the barbecue.
3. After that, put the chicken on skewers, alternating with pieces of tomato and green bellpepper.
4. Grill with a barbecue stove on low to medium heat and add the remaining marinating sauce on the chicken during the process.
Tip: do not throw away the remaining sauce, instead, boil it in a small pot and serve it on the table. Zap!
