If you have a chance to visit Phu Quoc Island and happen to be in the central area, I strongly suggest you try one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes from the southern part, the Crab Noodle. The noodle is thick, round, soft but firm, giving you the feel of very large vermicelli noodles. The broth has a thick, gravy-like texture and usually comes topped with a variety of seafood, the most popular being crab balls and real crab meat. This restaurant offers different variations of toppings, including crab, lobster, mantis shrimp, and abalone, or a combination of two or more, or even an "all-star" combo.

We came as a party of two and chose to order two regular seafood combos (no whole crab or whole lobster) and added one whole lobster as a topping to share. The broth's texture is perfect in my view—not too thick and with a natural sweetness from the seafood. I know that Southern Vietnamese cuisine tends to be on the sweeter side compared to the North, but once I seasoned it with some lime and fish sauce, it tasted perfect. I would rate this place 5/5. I love that they have clear pricing for each option; we paid about 330k for two combination bowls and one lobster topping, which is very, very reasonably priced for quality fresh ingredients, nice and clean seating, and friendly staff. I have nothing to complain about.
