In Xieng Khouang, Laos, Tham Piu is a limestone cave that serves as a memorial for victims of a bombing that occurred during the Second Indochina War. The cave contains the remains of approximately 374 people who sought refuge in the cave during the bombing. The victims include many women and children. Tham Piu is now a popular destination for tourists and visitors who want to pay their respects to the victims and learn about the history of the war in Laos. The site has been designated as a national historic site and is maintained by the Lao government.
